It is absolutely terrifying that 86% of Republicans believe he is telling the truth.

It is the reptilian brain. Do you realise that by changing 'ubl' to 't', and removing the 'c', Republican becomes Reptilian.

When the media is caught lying so many times, in such a predictable and consistent way, it's almost hilarious to see it work so well.
Or tragic...I go back and forth.

Oh, he lies, exaggerates, bullshits and rambles.
But the news orgs getting caught, and their lies collected, but still being trusted is FUCKING funny.
We're all stuck using them...I'm not pretending I'm 'above it' or anything.
That's even funnier.

Re: The Trump Pandemic
When you say 'the media is lying' we all know you only mean those organisations that don't lie for Trump and in circumstances where 'lying' is used interchangeably with 'reporting' and 'criticism'.Cunt wrote:When the media is caught lying so many times, in such a predictable and consistent way, it's almost hilarious to see it work so well.

Re: The Trump Pandemic
It's easier to see, because so many of the lies about Trump are so predictable and clumsy.
I mentioned that Reuters article...don't know which 'side' they fall on, but they covered the Tanzania Presidential test test story in a very bullshit way.
Should I wait to call them on bullshit to see which side they are on?

Trump: It's nothing!
Bright: not so!
Trump: fire him!
CNN
Dr. Rick Bright, the ousted director of a key federal office charged with developing medical countermeasures, will testify before Congress on Thursday that the Trump administration was unprepared for the coronavirus pandemic and warn that the the US will face "unprecedented illness and fatalities" without additional preparations.
Our window of opportunity is closing. If we fail to develop a national coordinated response, based in science, I fear the pandemic will get far worse and be prolonged, causing unprecedented illness and fatalities," Bright is expected to say Thursday, according to his prepared testimony obtained by CNN. "Without clear planning and implementation of the steps that I and other experts have outlined, 2020 will be darkest winter in modern history."
Bright is set to testify Thursday morning before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce's health subcommittee after he filed a whistleblower complaint last week alleging he was removed from his post in retaliation for opposing the broad use of a drug frequently touted by President Donald Trump as a coronavirus treatment.

Re: The Trump Pandemic
Seems to me that only one side is actively trying to make the pandemic part of the culture war. It's the same over here now.

Re: The Trump Pandemic
Trump wants accuracy in coronavirus death counts. So if an old person with coronavirus is not feeling well and has a bout of dizzyness and falls down the stairs and dies, that is not coronavirus. To succeed with this strategy, we could just put the old sick people in cars to drive around with a portable ventilator until they crash. The ventilator runs off the car power.
