I think Zigmen did the right thing in my situation.

I have never interacted with grit outside of a game before, so it is different.

Good luck, town. :)

Thank you, Diva.

I do not think I've ever godkilled anyone before, so it was not a move I took lightly.

I'm happy to help mentor you anytime, if you think you'd benefit from it!

It depends. I've seen it done both ways, and my own bias as a gm is to end the game day.

It refers to situations where the puck carrier is two foot stating with his head down and cannot see or react in time to an incoming hit. Here is a classic example of getting caught in the trolley tracks:

When I played competitive MechWarrior (stop laughing!) we called it "target fixation"

In mafia terms that might apply, yes. In MW terms it meant chasing after your target and exposing yourself to the full barrage of the other team's weapons.

Sorry zigmen but I think you made a mistake with godkilling diva. Her PM was not game-play related, but personal sympathy offered for grit receiving a pretty raw deal on TR. As UT mentioned, we chat regularly, and if I found a topic on rationalia that I wanted to privately comment to him about, I'd send him a PM with no second thought.

Players have to self-regulate regarding the no-communications rule, and I'm pretty confident every player here knows the line which they should not cross. Diva certainly did not cross that line.

OK I'll hop off my soapbox now.

interesting thnks. I'd honed straight in on the underlying metaphor and that works too, which is nice
