Being a naturalist and humanist means my life is now rid of the unhappy personal baggage of religion and other ignorance. In addition to appreciation of nature, of music and the other arts, I really like taking satisfaction in a job finished and well done. Being appreciated for it is just a bonus. I also enjoy seeing my children develop and grow as individuals and all that entails. Having a person in my life who loves and accepts me, with whom everything is respected, has made me happier on both an intimate and a general long term level than I've ever been.
