Somebody must have already done the "let there be air", because otherwise he couldn't have said "let there be light", because you need air for the vocal cords and to transmit the sounds.
And air to vibrate the eardrums of the angels who were listening, apparently.

That's another point. Angels must be able to see in the dark, or they would have been crashing into each other before god said "let there be light". Perhaps they have sonar, like bats.

It's all very complicated.

I guess perhaps those are the words he was thinking when he created everything. I guess god speaks Hebrew too. I mean, if that's what they were speaking in the beginning before the story of Babel.

I think that on the soundbite theory the "talking snake" quip was the best shot available.
