And here is one inspired by the latest controversy--you know, what women really think and really feel about atheist/skeptics (I'll keep it at that) events and do they want men talking to them and asking them to do stuff while they are there?
The idea has already been presented that women don't attend because they are in the minority; and the consequences of being a minority has been already touched on--that they don't like being hit on, that kind of thing. I have a different take and wonder if this might not be as true as the already presented "theory".
How about this?
First:
- Some women do attend because they like being the minority and want to take advantage of the better odds for hooking up that affords.
- That there exists an equivalent number of the female attendee minority that do like that and do want to hook up as there are women who don't attend at all because they fear or dislike being hit on at these events.
Just kidding.
Anyone who has something to say on the topic, even if we find it hard to understand the point you are trying to make, please share. We I really are am interested.
Really.
Thank you.
