Gonzo: Regarding the first time I voted Oblivion:

Really? Oblivion out of anyone has posted the most and has the best track record of scum hunting, imo.
I would like to know what this vaguely stated "big point" is.

Fair enough. I was planning to continue to do so because I really think it helps with participation, but it's too time consuming anyway. Besides my count has gotten really inaccurate with the multi-Day threads.

Frankly I am surprised that oblivion flipped scum. She didn't seem much different than in a game I hosted in which she was town, but that goes to show the weight of metagaming. It really doesn't help.

I've saw Oblivion play probably 10 town games straight. The minute she was sk, she tripped. Now this is the next game. I suppose there have been a few of us on the look out for it. She has primed us by saying how we would all laugh at her scum game. However I don't think anyone expected it to be much different from her town game.

She's never paid so much attention to 3rd and 4th on the b/w before. Trying too hard as I think someone else said. The flip side is what she's left behind. I expect her to have left no trail to her team. But that won't stop me looking.

Why I think there is a SK (and / or a very unsuccessful vig):

Day 1 OP:

The entire forum appeared to have rounded on Irre last night. Between the flaming and the scathing asides she could take no more and flounced off in a strop. Irre was Rob and was vanilla ratz.

The word between indicates to me that flaming asides was coming from one source and scathing attacks another.

Day 2 OP:

A spectacularly eventful night was had on ratz. The drama reached epic proportions when uselesstwit could take the sarcastic jibes no longer and left the forum in a blaze of whining.

Things were just calming down again when a sustained assualt of abuse and flaming made gib finally give up and stomp off to forums new.

Theory 1: Irre's was a doube hit

Theory 2: Irre's was a triple hit and gib's a double hit.

The day 1 OP states, "the entire forum". Not words you use lightly as a GM. She was hit from all directions, however with only two kill methods because the sk and vig used the same method.

That's what it looks like from my perspective. There is an sk without doubt. Are you with us? By my reckoning no, since you have hit town twice. Mind you, if the triple hit theory is right, so has the vig.

If it's between DP and Feck, I'll vote Feck. He's been less helpful to the town, imo, and his absence today should be noted.

yep OB did a good of not mentioning me lots during the game didn't she ! and I was an easy Fos at various points ....must mean I'm scum then ,Do you really think OB would have left a trial to her scum buddy by pointedly not fossing him ?

M - why did you place your vote on DP. You said you felt pressured into voting, but I didn't read that, if I recall correctly? Somehow that pinged to me.

All I meant was that on day 1of this game I flapped about voting and unvoting Feck and ended up not voting at all. Subsequently I got fossed. I couldn't stay on line yesterday so just had to go with my gut feeling.

Only posting now between breakfast, getting kids to school and then work. Feels like I only have time to read through and no time to analyse.
