Re: More Evidences for God
I'd have to dig my notebook out to be more specific, but I recall some nice stuff at the side of the road near the top - and we also walked through a lot of snow ... to see ... some rocks ... there ... too.
Troodos though.

Re: More Evidences for God
I guessed that - anywhere specific, or I guess you can't miss it?
I'm after a peridotite sample for my collection.
It will mean a fight with the wife. She thinks the luggage allocation is for clothes.

I'm nearly certain there was peridotite next to the road ... but it's a long while ago, and I can't remember where we parked!

Re: More Evidences for God
We had an ace trip to the US last year. Rockies. Came down the back of bighorn mountain. The road down had brown signs marking geological periods for about 1.5 km. I though it was unusual to bother, until I noticed we were going down into younger rocks. It was about a 750m recumbent.
I was hysterical with excitement

Tails Turrosaki:
Can you hear Allah? Hear him speak into your ear and not into your mind? No, you cannot.
Can you see Alalh? See him in which everybody else can and not be a delusion only you can see? No, you cannot.
Can you taste Allah? Taste him in a sense where you go up and lick him? No, you cannot.
Can you smell Allah? Smell him where you can walk up and take a big whiff of him? No, you cannot.
Can you feel Allah? Feel him such as to say that you can go up to him and touch him and not feel him "in your heart" or "in your mind"? No, you cannot.
Thus according to scientific laws, God does not exist.
that is just bollocks coz you cant do any of that stuff to electrons either, but they do exist. duh.

Psychoserenity tried to take the piss of the two evidence for God by bringing in his cuppa.

that is so laughable mate. are you seriously saying a teacup is intelligent?Psychoserenity:
Well I must say, the first two were truly excellent. - But they did both have a tiny little problem that I think might have been mentioned a few times in the previous thread; they were no more evidence for allah, than they were evidence for teacups in space.

i see your point mate and Coito said something similiar too. but you two are not right.MrFungus420:
Beauty is subjective. It is an opinion. It does not, itself, exist.
how do you know beauty is not real. have you got any evidence there there is nothing pretty out there. just coz you or 100 other people say Cheryl is ugly dont mean she is ugly.
but lets pretend you two are right. then that makes it your own view.
if beauty is subjective to you, then you can only say beauty does not exists as far as you are concerned. you cant speak for fans of beauty.
now you are cooking mate. thats exactly my point. But, let's assume for a second that it is true. That means that the following is equally valid:
Existence of evil is evidence that there has to be an designer malevolent.
Cheryl is evidence of Allah and an ugly cow is evidence of Iblis.
see what you just did there MrFungus420, youre using your brain to see logic aint ya. if you follow it you can find out that Allah's Throne which is located past the 7th galaxy.
what you said about evidence number one, i dont understand it mate.
but ill answer what Coito said about the size.
you are right mate. its a good logical point. size dont matter. The universe being big or small does not evidence a creator. It doesn't evidence anything other than that the universe is bigger than we are. Big is a relative term. There is no such thing as "big" independently of a comparison between one thing and another. If you look at your car, you see that it is not as big as your house. There isn't necessarily any greater meaning than that. Galaxies are bigger than stars, and the universe is bigger than galaxies, and planets are smaller than stars and people are smaller than planets. That's just a statement of the way things are, and has no bearing on why they are.
let me ask bella, coz she told Tails Turrosaki that exitence of something is not evidence of something else. she is wrong there. its the exitence of willy that is evidence of pleasure.
it know she will say that there might still be no screams coz the poor chap might not get it up. but we talking about existence of the thing.

Unscrew an electrical socket in your house, stick your fingers on the live and neutral and see if you can feel the electrons.mandelson wrote:that is just bollocks coz you cant do any of that stuff to electrons either, but they do exist. duh.

Do it in the garden too, it's more effective. You can admire the wonders of the open air and the EARTH is better.Pappa wrote:Unscrew an electrical socket in your house, stick your fingers on the live and neutral and see if you can feel the electrons.mandelson wrote:that is just bollocks coz you cant do any of that stuff to electrons either, but they do exist. duh.
