How much will you pay me not to denounce you as a homophobe to the log cabin republicans?
If I believe twitter, that seems to be precisely the case.

Letting these idiots into the Capitol, and having their behaviour recorded showed that they are just a bunch of unhinged stable doors.
I assume that the instigator was hoping that there'd be a reaction that would've escalated to the point where he might've been able to call out the army and declare Martial Law.

We all knew this was coming, so I was totally surprised there were no barricades and troops around the capitol. But we did not see the outside as TV coverage started. If I had been a senator I would have immediately alerted Mitch and Pence on arriving at the building that there is essentially no security outside. If there had been some 200 troops outside, there would still have been an ugly riot, but only outside. Also, ambulances and such would have been ready some distance away if they were prepared.NineBerry wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 9:55 amI don't see how this can be put on the Capitol Police mainly. The rioters should have been stopped a lot earlier. I looked up some of the video streamers that reported from the Capitol breach and they also had video material from the two days before. You can clearly see there was a lot of police and national guard units out in the streets controlling the crowd on the 4th and 5th of January. Where were those units on the 6th?
