If they find Biden ballots, it's evidence of Democrat malfeasance and chicanery. If they find Trump ballots it's evidence of Democrat malfeasance and chicanery.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Trump isn't the only one who can take legal action:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-11-22/ ... s/12908186
US President Donald Trump is being sued by Detroit voters who say he is "openly seeking to disenfranchise black voters".

The lawsuit comes as Mr Trump continues efforts to overturn the results of the November 3 election in states decisive in his defeat by Democrat Joe Biden.

On Friday (local time), a group of black voters and a voting rights organisation filed a lawsuit in federal court accusing Mr Trump and his campaign of breaching the 1965 Voting Rights Act by falsely claiming voter fraud, and trying to overturn the results in Michigan and other states by pressing officials not to count or certify votes or to install pro-Trump electors.

On Saturday, the Republican National Committee and the Michigan Republican Party wrote to the state board of canvassers asking it to adjourn for 14 days to allow for an audit of ballots in Wayne County, which includes the majority-black city of Detroit.

The letter cited allegations of "irregularities" that have not been substantiated.

Lawyers for three Detroit voters and the Michigan Welfare Rights Organization asked a judge to reprimand Mr Trump's campaign for spreading "disinformation" in a court filing about the certification of Wayne County.

"To effectuate this strategy, defendants are openly seeking to disenfranchise black voters, including voters in Detroit, Michigan," the lawsuit read.
BTW, surely "effectuate" is not a real word, or if it is, people who use it should be shot on principle... :nono:

Better stock up on the ammo. "Effectuate" is included in all dictionaries, and Google returns over 6 million uses of the word. Half of laklak's stash will probably suffice.

Trump team paid 3 million for "recount" but is only there to slow the recount so the whole count can be thrown out and the decision would be thrown to state government
At one recount table, a Trump observer objected to every ballot that tabulators pulled from a bag simply because they were folded, election officials told the panel.

Posnanski called it “prima facie evidence of bad faith by the Trump campaign.” He added later: “I want to know what is going on and why there continues to be obstruction.”

Joe Voiland, a lawyer speaking to commission members on behalf of the Trump campaign, denied his side was acting in bad faith.

“I want to get to the point of dialing everything down … and not yelling at each other,” Voiland said.

At least one Trump observer was escorted out of the building by sheriff’s deputies Saturday after pushing an election official who had lifted her coat from an observer chair. Another Trump observer was removed Friday for not wearing a face mask properly as required.

Trump paid $3 million, as required by state law, for the partial recount that began Friday and must conclude by Dec. 1.

His team is seeking to disqualify ballots where election clerks filled in missing address information on the certification envelope where the ballot is inserted, even though the practice has long been accepted in Wisconsin.
https://apnews.com/article/election-202 ... d372575a9b

Ink color on envelope and signature could mean something! Madison totals so far: 20 rejected ballots
And Neil Albrecht from the City of Milwaukee said one Trump campaign observer was moving from table to table objecting to every ballot cast in the city.

Poll workers already have been instructed to set aside envelopes where the ink doesn't match on an envelope - for example, if the witness signature and address are filled out in a different color ink. They have also been instructed to set aside votes cast by "indefinitely confined" voters.

When Milwaukee County election officials questioned Trump campaign attorneys about the flurry of objections, Voiland said the campaign would not be arguing that every folded absentee ballot is invalid -- as every single absentee ballot is folded to be placed in its envelope.

But Trump attorneys said the issue indicates that election workers were overreaching by asking observers why they were objecting -- rather than simply setting aside ballots and envelopes after an objection was made.

The recount in WI will not stop certification. Only two counties are being recounted, Madison and Milwaukee.

Even the supreme court will say election law cannot be changed for 2020 past Nov 3
One scenario that had been floated around was that Republican-controlled legislatures, such as Wisconsin's, could decide on its own to bring the panel of 10 Republican electors forward, despite the popular vote.

However, Noti says federal law prohibits that. "So although state legislators get to decide on the front end how a state is going to allocate its electoral votes, and currently, all 50 states do that by popular vote. The winner of the popular vote wins the state's electoral votes, state legislators get to decide how the electors are chosen. But under the Constitution, Congress decides when the electors are chosen," he explains.

Congress has said for a very long time by choosing an Election Day, which this year was Nov. 3, that all states have to make a decision about how they choose their electors and who those electors are going to be.

GOP on hands and knees:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Republican National Committee and the Michigan Republican Party wrote to Michigan’s state board of canvassers on Saturday asking it to adjourn for 14 days to allow for an audit of ballots in the state’s largest county.

A Michigan official said such an audit was not permitted under Michigan law.

“Audits play a different role in Michigan elections - to examine and identify errors for future improvement,” Rollow said in a written statement, adding no evidence of widespread misconduct or fraud had been reported.

The state board, which includes two Democrats and two Republicans, is due to meet on Monday to certify election results and will have as many as 20 days to do so.

I think that from now on American elections should be supervised by observers from civilised nations to ensure a just outcome. I mean, this is done with other backward nations where extremists try to wrench control.
