Australia doesn't exist. It was invented to make Europeans believe that a shutdown could bring down cases. But I can see the truth. People who believe in Australia are sheeple who need to wake up and see the TRUTH.

Pfizer drug is in production, so it will be made. Big cities will distribute it.

Moderna drug likely a stiff competition, and will reach all clinics, easy to store.

I spokesperson for Biontech said on the tele the requirement for deep freezing the vaccine is only a regulatory requirement. They are hopeful that a future generation will have enough data to drop that requirement. "You can store it at room temperature for weeks and it won't go bad."

The EU and FDA regulations are the same. It is called "harmonization." This makes it possible to make a drug in one plant for world wide use. You sell it for X euros in Europe and 10X in US. Nobody will stop the maker doing that, so far. If Medicare now gets to negotiate, US drug prices go down for seniors and UP for the rest of US.

It is unlikely Moderna will have any different storage rules, as the drugs are both made or RNA, which is less stable to falling to bits than DNA.

There are separate (similar but not the same) regulations between the US and the EU. I know because my employer is also affected by that. For example, the FDA requires clinical studies that includes cohorts with different ethnic groups while the EU doesn't. Also, the US requires clinical studies with US citizens.

How long will the developing world have to wait to get the vaccine, as the west is somewhat oversubscribed already?

I had to think about this for a bit. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, when approved, have to be stored at the temperatures that the clinical study was fone at.

The vaccine volunteers got was two ampules, same clinic, same freezer, at a couple of weeks apart.

Duh!

Yeah, right, because actual stability of the thing is NOT at stake, the more I hear, the less I trust it.

It will be quite interesting to read about the mechanism of mRNA vaccines. Antbodies bind to proteins. mRNA does not carry any.

Easy. The mRna carries the recipe to create the virus proteins. -> Your cells produce the virus proteins that do then trigger the immune system to react.

You wait months for a vaccine and then four come along at once.
