Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late

Turn stone to bread, said Daemon Duncetan
Turn stone to bread right away...

Last time the polls were flummoxed by respondents who didn't want to say they were voting for Trump. I wonder if there's more or fewer similarly shy Trump voters this time.

I saw a poll the other day that said 62% of respondents didn't want to reveal who they intended to vote for.

Not me! I'm voting for Jo Jorgensen and that's that!
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Never-Trump Republicans having a resurgence:

https://www.theage.com.au/world/north-a ... 55jdt.html
The group's co-founders include Steve Schmidt, who ran Republican nominee John McCain's 2008 campaign, and conservative lawyer George Conway, the husband of top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway. Having spent most of their adult lives working to get Republicans elected, they are now producing some of the toughest anti-Trump ads on the airwaves.

Democratic nominee Joe Biden's campaign has released three advertisements that have reached more than 1 million viewers on YouTube. The Lincoln Project has put out 44 — including what many strategists believe has been the most compelling ad of the campaign so far: Mourning in America, which painted an apocalyptic picture of Trump's handling of the coronavirus, has been viewed 3.3 million times.

Democratic strategist James Carville has said that Democrats could learn a lot from the Lincoln Project's tactics. "They're mean, they fight hard," Carville said. "And we don't fight like that."

Pollster Rachel Bitecofer, who is advising the Lincoln Project, agrees. "In general, Republicans campaign to the heart and Democrats to the head," she says. "Democrats tend to target their ads to an idealistic version of the voter — someone who is intellectual and nuanced. Republicans talk more to the electorate that actually exists."

A unique feature of the Lincoln Project is that many of their ads are aimed at an audience of one: the President of the United States. In May, the group released an ad designed to foment tension between Trump and his campaign chief, Brad Parscale, accusing Parscale of profiteering from his campaign role. Two months later, Trump sacked Parscale.

They've only ever shouted louder. --those that have stayed I mean. If you're still a Trump supporter now, today, how likely are you really to shy away from supporting him in public?

Nowadays, the area has developed from a small Navy town into a hub for the medical, financial and insurance industries. "We have Mayo Clinic now," said King, referring to the renowned Minnesota medical center that has opened a campus in Jacksonville. "Those companies bring their workforce from all over the country ... we have a lot of professionals that have moved here for work, and as we know Donald Trump does worse with college-educated people."

Data from the Florida Chamber of Commerce finds the two states where most Duval transplants have arrived from in recent years are New York and Pennsylvania. The assumption is these outsiders are bringing their more liberal politics to the South. Voter registration data seems to somewhat align with this theory.

Biden has chosen Kamala Harris to run as the Democratic vice presidential candidate. Former prosecutor, former Attorney General for California, serving currently as Senator from California.

'In Historic Pick, Joe Biden Taps Kamala Harris To Be His Running Mate'
Former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has picked California Sen. Kamala Harris as his running mate.

The selection will make Harris just the third woman — and first African American — to be nominated for vice president by a major political party.

"You make a lot of important decisions as president. But the first one is who you select to be your Vice President," Biden said in an email to supporters Tuesday afternoon. "I've decided that Kamala Harris is the best person to help me take this fight to Donald Trump and Mike Pence and then to lead this nation starting in January 2021."

'These aren't normal times," Biden added. "I need someone working alongside me who is smart, tough, and ready to lead. Kamala is that person."

Two two are set to deliver remarks in Biden's hometown of Wilmington, Del., on Wednesday, and together hold a virtual fundraiser. The coronavirus pandemic prevents Biden and Harris from rolling out their new ticket in the usual format: a boisterous introductory rally in a key swing state.

So, I was just watching Fox News on Youtube because they were the first search result when looking for Biden and Live.

The announcer was reading out tweets and she then pickjed a tweet by Donald Trump and read

"Totally UNFAIR that Sleapy Joe Biden picked Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate! Kamala Harris is smart which gives her an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE win she debates Mike Pence! Just talked to Pence and he is VERY upset!"

After reading out this text, it took her 10 seconds to realize she was reading out a tweet from a parody account
