The last people I would listen to or even read is the right wing rag called Forbes.

OK.
The Dutch announcement stands in stark contrast to the growing consensus across Europe that masks should be worn in places where social distancing is difficult. Last week, Belgium announced plans to mandate face masks in more public places, and in England they have become compulsory in shops.

More propaganda. Where is the evidence? Could not care what a corrupt countries like the UK and Belgium are doing. My sister lived in Belgium for ten years a more corrupt country in Europe you would be pushed to find.

Which survey? Which deaths? What second wave? Experts say there is only one wave.

Another myth destroyed?
Exaggerated risk of transmission of COVID-19 by fomites
A clinically significant risk of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission by fomites (inanimate surfaces or objects) has been assumed on the basis of studies that have little resemblance to real-life scenarios.
Got to keep the paranoia going.

The study looks at the viability of the flu virus under different conditions. It doesn't say anything about the viability, tranmissability, or infectiousness of Covid-19. Even if Covid-19 behaves exactly the same as the COV-SARS and COV-SARS-2 agents in the least optimistic result, and remains active in aerosol or on surfaces for 2-3 hours rather than 3-5 days, Covid-19 is still an infection with a wide (and widening) distribution in the human population, Covid-19 has a longer incubation period meaning it can be contracted and passed on before symptoms become apparent, it's known to be expressed in an asymptomatic form (particular among the young), it's still about 5x more infectious than the regular flu and about 4x more likely to kill you if you get it, and there's both an effective vaccine against the flu and a significant proportion of naturally developed human resistance and immunity to the flu that there isn't with Covid-19.

Trump and many right-wingers have mistakenly compared Covid-19 to the flu to suggest that as the flu isn't a problem for society then Covid-19 isn't either. When saying this they, like yourself Scott, fail to account for the unique features of Covid-19 listed above, either out of ignorance, self-interest or malice.

It's all fake. The dead people are crisis actors. Most of them, anyway, a few have been harvested by the Reptilians for biltong.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

That is not evidence. It is propaganda or are you unable to distinguish the difference.

So your personal experience determines everything? Just one example was my sister rented a house that officially did not exist but the owner paid a local government official to keep off the books for tax purposes. It was not a small place either. It had a total of 10 rooms and a double garage! It was on the estate of some old count.

By your logic then, you can't establish that they are probably all wrong :ab: therefore they are probably all right :ab:

Personal experience determines nothing, and so to prove your point you show your sister's personal experience.

Prominent Daily Mail columnist and wife of government minister Michael Gove suggests we need to dump the lockdown...
Sarah Vine, a UK columnist and former tabloid writer, has been slammed on Twitter for suggesting the government should dump its lockdown strategy.

The cabinet minister’s wife tweeted on Sunday: “We all have to die sooner or later. If I get Covid and cop it, so be it. My time has come. I’ll have had a good life, better than most in this world at any rate. I certainly don’t expect the entire nation to bankrupt itself to save my sorry ass.”

The comment came only days after the UK’s Covid-19 death toll surpassed 46,000 and regional outbreaks of the virus across the North West saw a string of new lockdowns imposed...

UK excess deaths since March are approaching 70,000 'sorry assess'.
