but my guitars are great since I got them back. Especially the acoustic which he polished the frets on. The strings were a bit scrape-y along the fret when bending.

To answer everyones burning question, he's playing 7-string B standard (B E A D G B E). He transposed the songs' solos back by three frets and transposed the riffs to what was comfortable. 3rd fret on low B is equivalent to open D on D standard songs an 1st fret on low B is equivalent to open C on Drop C songs
