Naw. That is not unchristian. Dennis is just a follower of the type of Christianity that was all the rage for many centuries right up to fairly recent times. You know, the fire and brimstone variety. The one that featured the auto-da-fé, the Spanish Inquisition (you didn't expect me to mention that, did you?), torture experts, the burning to death of heretics and female herbalists who owned black cats. That kind of Christianity.

Why not? I used to tell them they'll get a surprise when they die. Neither heaven nor hell will be there to receive their souls. But they will not. We have no evidence of anything left after we die except for matter that will eventually turn to stardust. In that regard Genesis 3:19 got it almost right. "thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

'Mad' Mike Hughes dies after crash-landing homemade rocket

A US daredevil pilot has been killed during an attempted launch of a homemade rocket in the Californian desert.

"Mad" Mike Hughes, 64, crash-landed his steam-powered rocket shortly after take-off near Barstow on Saturday.

A video on social media shows a rocket being fired into the sky before plummeting to the ground nearby.

Hughes was well-known for his belief that the Earth was flat. He hoped to prove his theory by going to space.
