Re: The thirteenth musical thrill: what are you listening to?
Wilko explains the guitar part in the Guitar Porn thread. he sings about Mick Green of Johnny Kidd...
Mick Green guitar featured here. No wonder both Townshend and Johnson picked up on this. it is stuff for bands with one guitar

Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late
Turn stone to bread, said Daemon Duncetan

Bill Wyman turned 80. He is no Paul McCartney. Even I could learn those bass lines, and I stink at harmony. But he was always right...
...except when Keith did not wait for him to show up and played the bass part

Re: The thirteenth musical thrill: what are you listening to?
Back in the early 60s a guy made a short career singing early rock songs in Finnish. My dad bought a record player and got this 45 free with it. Turns out the guy himself had bought a record store to run. He did not autograph it, and I no longer have it. I have three of dad's 45s.
