Sure he has. He pisses off people with consciences. His worshippers love that shit. All the vile hate and racism he spews... Republicans love that shit. "I like him because he says what I think." He's got 90% support with them. Also, judges. They love their anti-abortion judges...Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 4:00 pmChin up Seabass! He lost the popular vote last time and he hasn't done anything for the people that gave him the win.

If 10% of Republicans won't vote for him that sounds great, and with Clinton out of the way, some may even be comfortable voting democrat. Also, with Clinton out of the way, some democrats may be comfortable voting democrat.

Why would they want to do that? Australian government and private health care systems have been running in tandem for decades. The Dems might just want to emulate that.

She blames it on Comey. That's fine. She's not supposed to think just being Clinton was enough.

Re: The US Healthcare Mass Debate
I am not at all confident of a Democrat winning the next election either. The conservatives only need to tweak the gerrymandering a little more, strategically "relocate" some polling booths, understaff a few others to lengthen queueing times, make it a little harder for some to qualify for the vote. Additionally, the media, particularly the outfits controlled by Murdoch & Co will orchestrate their anti-Dems campaign, and the usual 1%ers will flood the Repubs with electioneering funds to enable wall to wall advertising, and Bob's your uncle.
The USA has never been a democracy anyway. The electoral college was intentionally designed to put paid to that, and the design works a treat.

No. I have never regarded the Electoral College as a democratic institution.
