A few thousand is all it takes here, if that. The state is split damn near 50/50.
Exactly lak. No state is the same either. Winner takes all is common. So democratic.

It's not democratic, but then it wasn't desaigned to be so.

Impeach the Motherfucker, then! It will keep him in DC and away from Florida rallies. Makes him weak.
You really want him to win, admit it. Vote articles of impeachment and he's got a fucking lock on it, that's why Pelosi is doing everything she can to avoid it.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Slavery reparations will be a fun election topic.
Getting Asian and Hispanic voters to tax themselves to pay for it might just elect Trump.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

USA Today

The democrats are fighting a somewhat civil battle among the top 3 or 4 to get the nomination. That is not going to work. they have to have a full time social media presence and bring up even trivial matters there. To keep the presence there alive till the moment one of them runs against Trump. Otherwise he has a huge head start. Warren especially will be dumped in the PROFESSOR basket and forgotten.

If AOC were 35 she would have a better chance than Biden. Bero is just a goofball.

The next Democrat president WILL act on borders. It's just they can't talk about it until Trump is gone. My bet is a huge number will just be deported, not detained more than a day.
However, Castro on Thursday denied he supported open borders.

“Open borders is just a right-wing talking point,” he said. “It doesn’t matter what Democrats do on immigration.”

Since then Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. announced on Tuesday a plan to “virtually eliminate immigration detention.”

“Without waiting for Congress to act, Cory will stop the treatment of immigrants as criminals, close inhumane DHS facilities, end the use of for-profit detention facilities and end unnecessary barriers for refugees and those seeking asylum to virtually eliminate immigrant detention,” a press release said.

Johnson, meanwhile, has also pushed back on the controversy surrounding the Trump administration's use of detention centers for migrants. On Friday, he said that chain link fences or "cages" weren't ideal, but were one of the ways authorities are forced to cope with the surge of migrants crossing the border, and that the alternative was putting them "on the streets."

"Chain link barriers, partitions, fences, cages -- whatever you want to call them -- were not invented on January 2017," Johnson said.

Jesus people, Trump lost the pop vote by a landslide.

If it's still possible for a handful of assholes in nowhere 'merica to decide the election, then the "top three" can do as well as Clinton and still lose.

Even if we get Biden, we'll take that. We need a path forward.
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-20 ... 611640b0df
With Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in the fold, the model finds that a Democratic candidate has 278 electoral votes from “safe,” “likely” or “lean” states.

Trump has just 197 in those categories. Even if he wins all of the toss-up states in Bitecofer’s model such as Florida, he’ll still fall short of the 270 needed to win reelection.

However, she said there are still factors that could change the outcome, such as the arrival of a well-financed independent such as ex-Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz or “significant disruption” such as war, recession, a terrorist attack.

She also said Republican turnout will increase, with 90% of them voting for Trump along with at least 38% of independents.

“Trump has a floor that is at least theoretically competitive for reelection and will force Democrats to compete hard to win the presidency,” Bitecofer wrote.

She said the Democrat turnout surge will be larger in many states, and added that the eventual nominee will, in fact, matter at least to some extent.

Biden is not the person to run. Let us run Harris.

Biden’s Iowa support crumbles in new poll

“He has not been campaigning in Iowa. He has not had a presence here,” Judge said. “Couple that with the debate — in which Kamala Harris certainly took a piece of his hide. I think it has caught up to him.”

Good one on Trump twitter account (likely borrowed text). I tend to agree with the first line:

Joe Biden is a reclamation project. Some things are just not salvageable. China and other countries that ripped us off for years are begging for him. He deserted our military, our law enforcement and our healthcare. Added more debt than all other Presidents combined. Won’t win!

Almost none of the rest is true. Trumpists do no care.

Still no good:
The Rasmussen Reports survey measured 48 percent support among likely voters for Biden, who is currently running for the Democratic nomination, ahead of Trump's 44 percent support.

44% is too much. Must get it to 40. Trump vs final Democrat

Sanders and AOC can handle twitter. The rest not so much

Trump Tweets

Last year was the first in 51 years where prescription drug prices actually went down, but things have been, and are being, put in place that will drive them down substantially. If Dems would work with us in a bipartisan fashion, we would get big results very fast!
Tweet from Bernie Sanders:

“That's a lie.

- There were 96 price increases for every cut during 2018
- Drug prices increased 10.5% in the last 6 months
- The prices of 104 drugs rose by 13.1% on average last week

When we win, we won't wait for drug companies to end their greed. We will end it for them.”
