Looks like we agree on that. Centrist media are neither unbiased nor neutral, but they are preferable to the lunatic fringes on either extremity of the political spectrum.

Re: Media Bias
The mindset thing is actually pretty racist - or at least stereotyping when you think of it. It’s only a small step to proposing black peoples’ mindsets make it harder fro them to cope in more structured societies that the ‘relaxed African ones’, the mind sets of Asians makes them great at maths but crap at creative thinking...etc.Hermit wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 8:52 amWhen Scott Dutchy's mindset goes into rant mode I just shrug my shoulders and move on. The best thing to do the moment you are tempted to argue with or react to him is this:

I know it seems difficult at first, but let me assure you, it becomes easy with a bit of practice. Counting to ten also helps.

Re: Media Bias
Yeah there's a lot of those stereotypes. Frenchmen are lascivious lathareos, German men are obsessed by their toilet habits, white men can't dance, and black men get shot in the face at the traffic lights by a cop who thought he might have a gun.

While we're rather laid back about TEH RULZ here I think it's worth saying that broadcasting one's disdain for another member like this, while encouraging others to be equally disdainful and calling them a cunt, is really taking things too far, and if repeated too often basically adds to a form of harassment.
We're a small community now, tiny even, and though I accept that we all have our good days and bad day I also think this kind of comment can have a disproportionately negative impact on the board as a whole than it might on a larger forum. I'm going to ask you to knock this kind of posting on the head but I would also like to ask everyone to consider the possible effect on the community of repeatedly broadcasting a low personal opinion about another member (and I include myself in that as well).
Brian.
