So I am, once again, a centrist. I actually should work, but I don't want to. Besides, I haven't eaten ALL the seed corn yet.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

What about people that don't need to work but keep working anyway? How can we help end the suffering of those poor bastids?

“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

Those are the oppressors. Anyone who no longer needs to work should make space for those who do need to work.

Don't worry, She Guevara wants those of you who are "unwilling" to work to get checks from the government.

Anybody looking into this "Green New Deal" thingy that AOC is flogging? It's brilliant, and the only chance the planet has. OK, it may be a bit ambitious, but most worthwhile things are. I'm particularly chuffed with getting rid of fossil AND nuclear power, 99% of all automobiles, cow farts, and all air travel within 10 years. As an added bonus, both food and money will be FREE! Not just for those unable to work, but those who are unwilling. That's me in a goddamn nutshell, I'm unwilling as fuck to work. And free education for life, no matter what you want to study. I'm going to study Abiding with Doobies and Beer. I figure it will take maybe 20 years to get my PhD.

I think she is watching this thread. She pulled it down now.

It is actually quite easy. A woman has at least one X chromosome.

Why write five separate posts? Cant his mind handle more than one subject at one time. Cunt suffers from the same.
Whether it is not on the exact subject does not really matter does it? They are words after all.

It's just a resolution. It reads like a list of goals. I mean, read a resolution about the Arab-Israeli conflict. :lol: Talk about a bunch of fucking idiots; when pigs fly, am I right?

I'm joking. It's just a resolution. Some of the crazy goals include things like:

(D) to secure for all people of the United States for generations to come—
(i) clean air and water;
(ii) climate and community resiliency;
(iii) healthy food;
(iv) access to nature; and
(v) a sustainable environment; and

--and I guess this is what got everyone fired up? :dunno:
(i) zero-emission vehicle infrastructure and manufacturing;

Is that even possible? Who cares. Take it out and put a realistic emissions target and you're still dealing with pretty much the same thing, right?

To me, that simply reads as fostering the development of zero emission vehicles and the infrastructure to support them (Tesla already doing that), not a target of zero CO2 emissions (although that needs to be a long term target anyway...)

It might not be achievable in absolute terms, but it's worth aiming at - like reducing infant mortality to zero, or irradiating malaria.
