Numbers of hurricanes have not increased

Trend with more rainfall from a hurricane can be drmonstrated.

OK, well I looked at the list of United States hurricanes on wikipedia and I don't see a trend of increasing hurricane incidences there. So... all's well I guess.

The thinking is that they'll get bigger in strength. Like the general rainfall in Australia. Less rainfall overall, but rain events will get larger (and more infrequent). So more flooding events in the regular country. And worse cyclones up north.

I didn't know there was a movie, but a conversation with Seth a couple of years ago prompted me to look at methane's impact, and I realized quickly that ruminants were a major threat and opportunity wrt to the global climate and environment.

I'll give it a watch!

Yeah, that really went hard for vegan as the solution. It seems like letting best get in the way of better.

Climate change: Oceans 'soaking up more heat than estimated'
By Matt McGrath
Environment correspondent

The new study says the oceans have absorbed far more heat than previously thought

The world has seriously underestimated the amount of heat soaked up by our oceans over the past 25 years, researchers say.

Their study suggests that the seas have absorbed 60% more than previously thought.

They say it means the Earth is more sensitive to fossil fuel emissions than estimated.

This could make it much more difficult to to keep global warming within safe levels this century.

Why not capture cow methane and use it to generate electricity.
