I have this fitbit device my daughter and wife got me from REI. We have a credit card that gets point at REI. Anyway, it measures sleep. I leave it on once week or so, mostly unintended, and it tells me sleep quality. Last night 17% or 1h 15 min was "awake", 1 hr in REM and 1 hr deep sleep. Rest was light sleep. You are not actually awake, it just gives you awake for a certain heart rate and it gives you REM when you are catatonic.

I wouldn't mind trying that. I wonder how accurate it is.

I once was tested for sleep apnea... turned out there was no such thing, but a lot of micro awakenings, whatever that can be.

I wake myself up laughing more often than screaming these days.

The vet gave Moo Xanex because she's so terrified by lightning. It's like a goddamn fountain of youth. She gets all frisky and wants to play, and gets a massive attack of munchies. She loves it. I've never taken it, but if it does the same thing in people I should probably give it a try.

As the old Country song says; You don't know love 'til you've done Xanex with your dog.

Ha! Xanex and Valium were popular when I was a teenager. It's not my cup of tea.

Dexes and purples were popular in my day. Dead cheap at four for a shilling. Never touched them.

Snorting crank was as dodgy as I got. Couldn't cope with the idea of needles, which may have saved my life...

well, I took too big a dose of xanax yesterday, and woke up with my eating plate not in its proper place and a frozen pizza missing from the fridge... would never have known I was that hungry in my waking self.
