It's not pie-in-the-sky. The interesting thing about all Trump's apparent grandstanding promises, is that to succeed, he really doesn't need to accomplish miracles. With some incentives here, tax breaks there, and regulatory handcuffs removed there, the economy can be boosted. If he focuses on economics, business and industry, he can accomplish what he promised.

And, everyone knows he's for single-payer healthcare, and I'll tell you why he's for it: if you removed healthcare obligations from employers' backs, it would be among the largest hidden tax reductions in the history of the country. Imagine if employers did not need to offer health benefits, because the government took care of it. Massive, massive direct infusion of capital that would be free to invest. He says "everyone has to be covered" - what he's talking about is a national health system, without saying it.

Politics sure are interesting this season. The UK looks to give its parliament the chance to vote against Brexit and Republicans look to deny Trump votes in the electoral college.
