I'm a fucking retard and never pretended otherwise but at least I don't have to hide behind my mother's petticoat when someone has a different opinion than me. Mick, Mr.Samsa and Jamest and many others have fallin' for the 'won't someone think of the children', 'I'm so offended', bunch of children collapsing into the fainting couch as soon as someone disagrees with them. They have been wrapped in cotton wool so long that the only argument they have is: Name calling, smears, reporting/banning, running to the feedback part of the forum complaining that how dare anybody say something they don't like; they shouldn't be allowed to do that.
It's beyond pathetic and you are too smart to ignore it yet you still defend their decent into ignoble groupthink for disingenuous reasons. Who do you think you are fooling as it is not me so have a good look in the mirror.

I don't know how I picked up that reputation. I just talk about science stuff that I'm interested in and sometimes that science stuff overlaps into claims about gender. Of course, that's the point where most people decide science can't answer the questions but I didn't pick up on that memo and I somehow became the evil "SJW" because I believed that the wage gap existed or that black people faced discrimination..

I'm mostly just roaming the internet for any mention of psychology-related stuff or behaviorism these days, so not much different from before as RatSkep had dried up a bit in its later days anyway.

I just checked and my suspension is supposed to be up in August. I can't decide whether I'll bother going back or not, it looks like idiots have pissed all over my beautiful Psychology & Neuroscience subforum that I spent so much time developing and weeding out shitty topics/opinions so that's not even really an option now. They might as well make Kennyc a moderator of it and give up any hopes of any interesting or scientific discussion coming out of it.

I'll let you know if I decide to drop in again though. It is bugging me a little that before I got banned I was in a discussion about whether the new character development in the Thor comic was going to be good or not (a woman has taken up the title of Thor and people got angry), and now it's outselling past Thor titles... By the time I get back though it'll be well-old news.

I think it would take more than my posts to improve it. Reminds me of a standup piece by Sean Lock who talks about his disillusionment with making environment friendly choices when he realised how much waste is produced by the US, and he says it'd be like turning up as part of a disaster relief team to the aftermath of an earthquake with a dustpan and brush.

I honestly don't think I could for fear of my own mental state and for fear of making his mental state even worse than it is (if possible). I imagine that if I produced another scientific finding that contradicted his worldview then he might just finally snap and lose his ability to create actual words (I mean, he's already lost the ability to form coherent sentences but at least he mostly uses real words). He'd descend into such a state of pure incoherence that the physical structure of his body would begin to snap apart, the very atoms breaking at the seams, and flesh melting into basic matter.

And the moment before he poofs out of existence, he'll make one last shitty pun that even 4 year olds would cringe at.
