LOL -- doesn't even matter anymore....

No -- the IRS has been proving to be one. Stop listening to MSNBC. The IRS admitted they were wrong. They merely danced on the head of a pin as to what they did wrong and whether there was any intent to go after conservative political groups. The IRS has been hiding the ball -- they refuse to obey subpoenas and they have not disclosed the answers to simple questions, like: who authorized the criteria used, and whatnot.Kristie wrote:Benghazi?!? The IRS....that 'scandal' is proving not to be one....

That is, of course, a wildly false summary of what was described in the link in the OP.Azathoth wrote:So ambassadors and their security details are visiting hookers and someone has a quiet word with some overzealous copper that their attentions would probably be better focused elsewhere. meh. Now if they had been chopping up hookers that would be different but if they were just screwing them who gives a shit?
These current "scandals" are mere distractions from the real threat: Obamacare doctors are going to kill us all at the FEMA death camps by giving us each a thousand paper cuts with forged birth certificates.DaveDodo007 wrote:Has David Icke taken over the forum?
http://www.policymic.com/articles/47461 ... drug-ringsAccording to an Inspector General memo discovered by CBS, the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), a group entrusted with protecting State Department officials and investigating claims of misconduct, regularly has its investigations manipulated or even called off entirely by high-ranking officials in order to protect political reputations or avoid scandals.
The memo cited eight different examples of this happening in the recent past. In Beirut, several security officers sexually assaulted foreign security guards, but the crime was covered up quietly instead of being properly investigated. In Baghdad, security officials were supplied with drugs from an underground drug ring, and again the investigation was not allowed to continue. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's own security guards were charged with hiring prostitutes in various foreign countries, and while they did receive some punishment (either a verbal admonishment or a one-day suspension), it apparently hasn't changed their behavior.
Covering up sexual assaults is not a scandal? Seriously?Kristie wrote:Another day, another 'scandal'.
Yeah, I'm starting to believe that he is a nefarious fucker. It's such a shame. I believed all the "change" crap. From pretty much all the measures that I can see, he is far more authoritarian than Bush ever was. He's also got a smaller government than Bush, with smaller spending. He's a massive let down, and goes to show your country is royally fucked. Two party dominated system where both parties are both neoliberals/neocons. Your country isn't going down some crypto-Marxist drain (like you and Seth would have us believe), it's going down a neoliberal plutocratic authoritarian plughole very quickly. Not sure what can be done to stop it. There seems to be no other option other than rank neoliberals all the way.Coito ergo sum wrote:You are kidding, right?
What is going on now is worse than anything since Watergate, at least. I'm not even exaggerating. I, of course, disagreed with his politics, but I never thought that he or his administration had nefarious intent - I just disagreed with their economic and social policies, most of them (not even all of them -- I'm with Obama on a fair number of issues).
This stuff is serious. The IRS, the AP, the NSA, Benghazi -- massive lies and cover-ups on a fundamental level and large scale.
