The Good Lady Strange is a Bejewelled Machine (sounds like a Lady Blah Blah song that) it's fascinating to watch her trounce all her friends.

I secretly despise the many FB friends who consistently get higher scores than me...Audley Strange wrote:The Good Lady Strange is a Bejewelled Machine (sounds like a Lady Blah Blah song that) it's fascinating to watch her trounce all her friends.
That's for the kid. The shine has somewhat worn off that apple, already.Animavore wrote: Don't you have Portal 2 to play?

Yeah she inspires much ire from her tedious coterie who spend too much time trying to beat her, only for the Good Lady to come home and trounce their hard won high scores. Personally I'm shit at such games.Bella Fortuna wrote:I secretly despise the many FB friends who consistently get higher scores than me...Audley Strange wrote:The Good Lady Strange is a Bejewelled Machine (sounds like a Lady Blah Blah song that) it's fascinating to watch her trounce all her friends.

Finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution last night. Very disappointed by it in general and felt absolutely robbed by the cop-out 'choose your non-ending' finale. Good thing I got it at half price.
Next up for me is Diablo 3, sometime early next year.

Disappointed by Deus Ex? HOW?
I loved it... the music and atmosphere in general was enough to have me love it, and being free to be stealthy or blast away, and so on, was great as well. One of the games of the year for me.
I've started Batman: Arkham City. Fun enough so far, with loads of city to explore and with the grappling hook and the batsuit's gliding capabiltiies being useful in that respect. From what I've gathered the main story is fairly short, but I'm enjoying the side-missions and whatnot as well, so I don't think that'll be a problem.
Helluva month ahead for those of us who love games. Just got a confirmation that Battlefield 3 is on its way (not generally a fan of such games, but this one seems a bit like a quantum leap for those of us who really care about immersion), Uncharted 3 coming next week, and Assassin's Creed and Skyrim coming in the middle of next month. AC is probably my favourite games franchise, outside of FIFA, so I'm really looking forward to that

I just did this in 4 goes (1st vid only). Including getting the drake sword with mad skillsAnimavore wrote:Did you see this, Audley? Guy completes Dark Souls in under 90 mins. I haven't watched it all 'cause I'm not finished yet (3 bosses left) but in this first 12 mins he beats the Asylum Demon, the Taurus Demon, gets the drake sword with mad skillz and defeats the Belltower Gargoyles.

Re: Now what are you playing now 2: Limited Collectors Editi
I couldn't get past the bosses on Anor Londo still last night. So I built a warrior and went from the Asylum to Blightown in about 40 minutes. I'll tell you what though, I've noticed reliance on the environment to help kill things makes the game much easier. You know the armoured warthog thing just as you get past the dragon, run behind the flames and everything charges you and goes foom. The traps in Sen's Fortress can be triggered once you lure the mobs out and there is even another fire in the bottom of the Undead Burg (just before the Cesta Demon) which does the same thing. I've even had that knight you rescue from just below the belltower attacking everything in it's path to try and get at me.
Terrific stuff eh?

It sure is
I know the other stuff but what did you do with the knight?
