It's cow burps that are full of methane, not the farts.
Human farts generally have hydrogen, not methane. A certain percentage of us have a bacterium in the gut that produces methane, but I think it's less than 50%.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

I read somewhere that termites are the biggest producers of methane on the planet.
Probably bacteria in their guts too.
You would think that you could rig up giant digesters to use the same bacteria to break down timber waste and produce commercial quantities of natural gas. A lot of other waste material could be used like straw etc.
