I have just been watching Roger Penrose talking about the 'eternal cycle of universes' (if you want to be similarly boggled it is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVDJJVoTx7s) and I was suddenly almost paralized by the enormity of what he was suggesting as well as my inability to fully comprehend it. Also the never ending ending question - what does 'eternity' mean and what was before... etc..
I think I am gradually realising that my grasp of these issues is limited by a species limitation - putting aside that my maths is never going to be a language that can access some of the issues. We can't apprehend the state of things outside our own 'embedding' within what is clearly a much more complex setup than our senses, 'designed' (if you will excuse the term) solely by our evolutionary needs.
However to the point of this - please post things that boggle you.

I"m utterly boggled by the depths of human stupidity in matters politick. people hae a tiny smidgen of political power... and they waste it voting on the most dodgy characters possible, who won't help them and possibly will hurt them quite a bit.

Actually, nothing boggles you except your own mind.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
