I seriously doubt that it is possible to develop more than lightspeed travel or even close to lightspeed travel. So, space travel over long distances for living beings is only possible on generational ships.
That means, you don't plan on visiting Earth just for fun.
So, anyone arriving is either a generational ship with a population looking for a new home planet or an AI. Good bye humanity in both cases.

I don't think it is possible to even remotely guess what such visitors might be like - or for that matter if they can travel faster than light - who knows what quantum level stuff might be discoverable - or much else come to that which we don't have the remotest idea about.
