Yup, that's mentioned in the article. As the plane heated up in flight, the fuel tanks sealed.

Yeah I bought one of the little Blackbird models there for my desk.....that , the shuttle, the Enola Gay and the Blackbird were the highlights - oh yeah seeing my fav sailplane that I liked to fly grouped with the legends
