(It may as you to install Silverlight if it isn't on your system, but it is only a small prog only takes a few seconds and it is harmless)

A billion pixels of red sand. Wow. Must feel inspired by this. :coffee:

Are you capable of a positive thought?

Don't answer. I'm not interested.

:hehe: I love the Rum and Scrumple show.

I notice that both names contain "rum". :ask: Coincidence? I think not...

Indeed. It may just be red sand. Quite common for someone who lives in South Australia. What makes it special is that the photos are taken by an implement made by humans after it landed on another planet - a planet which is about 56 million kilometres away from us at the moment. It may not be a big deal to you, but I appreciate - to say the least - that we've come a long way in the relatively few years since celestial bodies were thought to be holes in the god-made firmament through which rain reaches us.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

I wish I'd said that.

You'll notice you never see them in the same picture of Mars? :whisper:
