So in Finland front doors open outwards? Why and what is the logic?

Strangely apartment doors here if they are not exposed to the elements are on the light side but open inward.

simple, it's the same in anycountry where there's a lot of snow and high winds in winter, the doors open outwards so they can't be opened by exceedingly strong winds or the weight of a snow congery and leave the home open to cold and snow.

Probably just habit in Sweden and Finland. In Denmark the doors open inward but Denmark does not get much snow.
