The collective noun for racoons is ...?

A gaze of racoons.

Though we love to focus on the vertebrates, more than 95% of the world’s known living creatures – at least 1.3m species – are spineless.

Read the link I gave. It explains the theory.

But, the carboniferous was a novel time.

Incredible.... parasailor pilot sucked to 33,000' and survives...

Nasty Tstorms in Australia.....lucky girl.

I've been under a strong cu pointing straight down in the Blanik and still climbing and that's just a regular summer cloud. Very vivid for me still tho was not scared - just worried about getting hell from the safety instructor ( you are not allowed to fly inside of clouds as a VFR pilot) if I got pulled up.

Just astonishing she survived that

A new study--which includes the first large-scale comparison of fungi that cause rot decay--suggests that the evolution of a type of fungi known as white rot may have brought an end to a 60-million-year-long period of coal deposition known as the Carboniferous period.
