I can believe it with the 42C we had two days ago.

Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

It think that may be at least partly why it's supposed to be warmer in the southern hemisphere.

I think Cumbria's in the southern hemisphere. Certainly looks like it from Harrapool.
