That is just wrong, of course, but it got me thinking. From now on I'll be using "The chances range between 0% and 100%, and you'll have to show that it's actually 50% before we proceed".

You can prove anything with numbers - half the globe is in recovery mode based on heaping massive debts on their debt mountains. Numbers can and have been used to justify and prove anything. Once you've accepted the base premise of 2+2=5 the remainder of your logical structure is usually very sound.

But there must be a 50/50 chance for each god being real, so the probability of one of them being the real one approaches 100%...but which does he choose? And why?

It is clear we have too many gods. Some must be fakes. But can we eliminate all the fakes wihout risking losing the genuine article?
