They very probably are food animals. I wonder if that would breed true?CakeOrDeath wrote:It's got no ears! Tis very cute though. I wonder if those rabbits are being raised for food?

It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

You would think the Japanese of all people would know that radiation doesn't cause birth defects. That thing is more likely a product of generations of inbreeding
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

They have a large enough gene pool to prevent that.Azathoth wrote:

Re: X-rabbit born near Fukushima!
I doubt it. If they are farming rabbits for food they probably just let them get on with it. Even if they aren't inbred it doesn't mean that radiation caused it. There were plenty of studies done after Hiroshima and Nagasaki that showed no causal relationship between the frequency of birth defects and radiation doseGawdzilla wrote:They have a large enough gene pool to prevent that.Azathoth wrote:

Yeah, but they do know it creates giant sea monsters which stomp all over their cities! Here's one of Zilla's cousins for example..Azathoth wrote:

You just disproved decades of fruit fly studies there, mate.Azathoth wrote:I doubt it. If they are farming rabbits for food they probably just let them get on with it. Fruit fly research is so much more relevant than data from humans. What was I thinking?Gawdzilla wrote:You just disproved decades of fruit fly studies there, mate.Azathoth wrote:I doubt it. Re: X-rabbit born near Fukushima!
My point, which must be painfully expounded, is that radiation does cause mutations. That's one way they dick with fruit fly genes. I had a big chunk of radioactive cobalt once, in a big lead jug.Azathoth wrote:Fruit fly research is so much more relevant than data from humans. What was I thinking?
Re: X-rabbit born near Fukushima!
I'm not disputing that radiation causes mutations just that those mutations don't manifest themselves as birth defects in humans
