You'd never use your admin status to edit a post without leaving any visible trace, would you now? ;)

I once worked out a timeline for the history of the universe compressed into a single day (or something like that) to post on another forum where woo was the order of the day.

The best part was a few microseconds before midnight, where I marked the "alternative date for the creation of the universe". I wonder if I can find it... :what:

Here it is... Since it's not quite on topic, I'll spoiler it.
Trigger Warning!!!1! :
We humans, averaging say 5' 3" in height:
* live under an atmosphere of about 3 miles of breathable air;
* standing on an eggshell crust of hard rock averaging 18 miles thick;
* which encases a hot ball of superheated and molten rock just under 8,000 miles across;
* which floats through space around a huge fusion reactor 870,000 miles wide;
* at an orbital diameter of about 93,000,000 miles;
* in a solar system of eight planets (give or take a Pluto), the outermost of which (Neptune) has an orbital diameter of 2,796,170,365 miles;
* whose nearest star neighbour (Proxima Centauri) is 25,613,263,296,000 miles away (4.36 light years);
* in a spiral arm of a galaxy about 587,460,167,000,000,000 miles across (100,000 light years);
* that contains somewhere between 200,000,000,000 and 400,000,000,000 other stars;
* whose nearest galactic neighbour, Andromeda, is something like 14,686,504,184,000,000,000 miles away (2.5 million light years);
* representing just a couple of the 80,000,000,000 galaxies (at least, and if they all have 200 billion stars each, that's 16,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the universe!!) in the universe;
* the portion of which we can observe having a diameter of about 164,488,846,855,404,420,000,000 miles (28,000,000,000 light years);
which it is thought to have formed some 14,000,000,000 years ago.

Coming back the other way, if the lifetime of the universe was compressed into a day, and formed at just after midnight, it wouldn't be until ten past four in the afternoon that the solar system and the Earth formed.

The first life on Earth probably got established at about quarter past five in the evening; microbes and bacterias were kicking about by eight o'clock and by half-past, the first multi-cellular organisms were having a late dinner.

Invertebrates arrive quite late, at about quarter-past ten;
the first creatures with carbonate shells (e.g. trilobites) arrive at eleven, and the first fish by quarter-past eleven. It starts to get busy in the last half-hour or so:

23:29 - first reptiles
23:30 - land plants, insects, early mammals;
23:34 - just about everything wiped out in a mass extinction;
23:35 - dinosaurs for the next twenty minutes or so;
23:45 - Tyrannosaurus rex;
23:53 - just about everything wiped out in another mass extinction;
23:54 - grasses, turtles;
23:56 - marsupials, very early horse ancestors;
23:57 - grazing animals and their predators.

And then we're down to the last minute of the day, and it gets really hectic:

23:59:35 - first hominid (this is still four million years ago!);
23:59:47 - sabre tooth tigers;
23:59:53 - Homo erectus;

And then in the last tenth of the last second before midnight:

23:59:59.91 - domestication of the dog;
23:59:59.94 - end of the last ice age, and global spread of modern humans;
23:59:59.96 - alternative date for creation of the universe;
23:59:59.97 - first known civilisations (city dwellers - 5000 years ago);
23:59:59.988 - time of Christ;

And in the last millisecond-and-a-bit:

23:59:59.99881 - start of Industrial Revolution;
23:59:59.99961 - end of WW2;
23:59:59.99978 - I was born.

Woohoo!
