Faithfree, some help, please.

There is a claim over at JREF that the reason it was possible to move the huge stones used to construct the pyramids is really simple, they weren't moved. Instead they were molded in place using crushed limestone that was carried to the site in baskets and formed in place.

Now for the question (asked with a completely straight face.): Is there any way to tell the difference between naturally occurring limestone and stones made in this fashion? I have been assured that there is no way one could tell either apart.

Huh. I heard the stones were dragged with ropes up ramps made of dirt and sand, that encircled the structure of the pyramid and were extended as it got taller-- which seem a bit more plausible than molded limestone, but hey-- I'm no Egyptologist. I'm also not Faithfree.

Utter fucking nonsense. It would take significantly more manpower to crush that volume of limestone than just to drag it where it was supposed to be. That is before I even get into asking what process they are proposing for making several million tons of limestone chippings into a pyramid. She appears to advocating that they are made out of concrete.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

How long have you been human? :shifty:
