Anyone else like Patrick Dixon (futurist and consultant)?

Post by eXcommunicate » Sat Apr 18, 2009 3:39 am

That's a sample of one of his videos. I particularly like his talks exhorting business people to be moral in their business interactions, especially with customers. I like his ideas about cell phones and payment systems. Also his meme about "emotion" being the key to the future of business is delightfully humanist I must say. If businesses followed his advice there might be hope for capitalism yet.

I'll be back to play that later - I just noticed it was 38 minutes long, and there's football on the radio.

He speaks a lot of sense. I wonder how much of it his audience would dream of putting into practice.
