Today, walking around, I met Mark. I don't know his last name, but he discovered the 'gneiss rock', which is 3.962 billion years old, making it not only the oldest known intact crustal rock on this planet, but the perfect missile to use in the battle against young-earthers (figuratively, I mean )

Anyway, I got to shake the hand of the man who found this rock. What's more, he said that if I purchase one, he will autograph it!!!

I don't know if there are any rock-happy science-loving sorts here, but I feel pretty excited about getting a piece (I'll have to save up a bit).

This rock is actually older than many of the older members here!!!

I offered to expose his souveneir business (he is selling pieces of this rock) here on the site, but will let him decide how/when. (and of course, I don't want to spam for business purposes here, so will check with a mod/admin before posting links or anything)

Gneiss is just a classification of metamorphic rock. I assume you meant he found a formation of gneiss which is 3.962 billion years old.
