Dude, it's a blimp. Granted one with a little more control, but its's still a blimp.

What possible reason could it be "for"?

Would it not be easier to get an engine for your boat?

Also if you're on the boat, who's in the blimp? What happens when the blimp has to land to take on fuel? (They can operate for many hours but not indefinitely.)

The boat will have an engine, but only for when the blimp is off getting fuel. Also the top of the blimp will be solar cells and there will be wind turbines on the boat to generate electricity. With that system I would never have to refuel if I didn't need to.

The blimp can be run by remote control from the boat, and sent to collect fuel and return without a pilot.

(And, of course, we DON'T have anything like this currently.)
