Down in one piece is excellent...

Now, it has to move, and have all its technical bits working...

And then not fall in a crevice, or get eaten by Martians...

The "most read" section of the BBC website currently shows the news that NASA has successfully landed a one tonne mobile science lab on Mars being pipped to the top spot by the news that some oik has successfully landed a small glass bottle on a racetrack :twitch:

If NASA can hurl a carriage-sized lump of metal across the gulfs of interplanetary space and land it on a dime and as gently as a feather why can't they make me a sammich?

“I wish no harm to any human being, but I, as one man, am going to exercise my freedom of speech. No human being on the face of the earth, no government is going to take from me my right to speak, my right to protest against wrong, my right to do everything that is for the benefit of mankind. I am not here, then, as the accused; I am here as the accuser of capitalism dripping with blood from head to foot.”

John Maclean (Scottish socialist) speech from the Dock 1918.
