I think we might need to get at least as far as Alpha Centauri, or maybe Tau Ceti, to pull that one off. :eddy:

No, just had a teacher who was retiring after my class and just generally didn't give a shit anymore. He spent most of our classes talking about hunting with his sons.

It is obvious they went to the moon. And it is obvious the lighting was less than ideal for filming much. I suspect they filmed parts on earth, like the flag planting which had little scientific worth but tremondous propaganda value at the time, whilst also using the technology available back then to 'improve' the footage they brought back. Denial about trivial airbrushing & some minor embelishment is the most probable explanation for the inconsistancies and what presents the 'full-blown conspiracy theorists' with a viable case. Airbrushing was the photoshop of the day - consider the temptation to those at the time lumbered with poor footage shot against a heap of coal? You need to consider that your parents were duplicitous liars like everyone else, sometime, it is part of growing up. :smoke:

Please tell me you do not believe that zoomies went to the fucking Moon and didn't bother putting up a fucking flag. Do you know any zoomies? No way. I mean, no fucking way ever. These are totally the most rah-rah motherfuckers in the history of the world, man. Didn't you see The Right Stuff?

I'm not say they didn't put a flag up. Just they filmed a sexier flag in a studio here on earth to make it look better than it did with the blurred footage of the real thing.

The best part of the original flag was that they put it too close to the lander and the ascent stage rocket knocked it over when they launched. :hehe:
