Re: Wonders of the Solar System TV Show
I kind of love him, although at the same time I find it really irritating how he sort of half-laughs through every single thing he says. That sounds stupid, but I was sitting with my flatmate watching his programme on the LHC and we were both like "just say the line! argh!" but at the same time enjoying it.

He will awaken a whole new audience to science in general and physics in particular.

Mind you, I've been told I don't exactly look my age. Quite often actually.

Indeed. The two-seat version of the English Electric Lightning is one of my favourites ...ficklefiend wrote:

Re: Wonders of the Solar System TV Show
I really enjoyed this. Cox is among my favourite science presenters at the moment, due to his childish enthusiasm. I didn't learn anything new, but I really like the way he puts it across.
The bit that I enjoyed most was his talking about the pamphlet he was given when going up to the mountain-top observatory, which informed him that he should seek a paramedic if he should happen to 'see stars'.
