Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

Got nada here. Next time I move, I'm moving closer to the Sun so I can be ready for these things.

Mrs TA got this one from Cairns:

She was very pleased!
For your diaries:
20th March 2015 - total eclipse Faeroe Islands and Svalbard; partial over the whole of Europe (85-90 % in the UK).
9th March 2016 - total eclipse Indonesia; partial over KOREA (etc) and northern Australia, Hawaii.
21st August 2017 - TRAIN WRECK TOTAL ECLIPSE across the whole of the USA; partial everywhere in north and central America, and Ireland, Scotland maybe just at sunset. Some of the places totality passes over:
Salem, Albany (Oregon); Idaho Falls (Idaho); Casper (Wyoming); Grand Island, Lincoln (Nebraska); St Joseph, Columbia (Missouri - St Louis is right on the edge of totality); Clarksville, Nashville (Tennessee); Charleston (S Carolina).

Was chasing a cunt of a chicken round that had escaped from the run. Thought it was a particularly turdish cloud. Oh well.

I have shown this on another thread, but what the hell.
Here in northern New Zealand, we had a 90% eclipse, which I viewed by projecting the image through binoculars. Much safer and easier on the eyes.

I took this photo by simply snapping the image on my screen.

For every human action, there is a rationalisation and a reason. Only sometimes do they coincide.
