A typical tree drinks around one tonne of water a day, read it on youtube once, and there are billions of them buggers.
A gnat drinks sod all but an elephant drinks 100 litres a day, so if we say that all life is somewhere in the middle like umm, 50 litres EACH. That means *tappy-tappy* by my calculations, give or take a litre or two, there is likely to be a drought somewhere. Yep, we drunk the lot!
