This is simply a theoretical reason that they shouldn't be travelling faster than c, not proof that they don't. For that, someone needs to come up with evidence that the original experiment and its successor were flawed in some way.

Until that proof is forthcoming, hyper-c neutrinos remain an implausible possibility!

I think something of this potential magnitude warrants other teams around the world to repeat the experiment and see what they get. Obviously, disagreeing on theoretical grounds isn't going to get anybody anywhere. It's the theory that's being challenged in the first place.

Everybody's busy. Let them debug their own experiment first; if they get all the way to the end and have checked everything, and can't find anything they did wrong, and everyone has checked their procedures and can't either, then it will be time to try to replicate it.
