Well, at least you've added one bit of real information. An empty veseel CAN make an awful lot of sound.

Pardon for being redundant, then, as you've already proven that.

Just for fun, I just used a calculator to work out the forces my lounge would have to cope with, if it was on Mars.
The ceiling and floor, about 285 tons each.
Long walls, about 190 tons each
End walls, about 125 tons each.

This is an average sized English lounge. If people are to live on Mars or the Moon, this is the sort of problem that a pressurised living space will present.
I don't think sending up the components on a rocket would be a viable option, they would just be too heavy, if you were going to build anything significant.
So you would be looking to use local materials. Even that would be very expensive, as you would have to send heavy machinery to work it.

So to do anything meaningful in space, or on Mars or the Moon, we're going to have to find a more efficient way of getting payloads up into space.
Then you would have to establish a huge space station, with engineering workshops, where machinery could be repaired and recycled, to maximise the use and re-use of every kilo of material.
And a well equipped hospital in space, otherwise it would cost a fortune to send people up and down, for treatment.
It would also help to develop food production techinques in space, because sending food to Mars would be hideously expensive.
With all of that done, you could say you were on your way.

Thanks, mistermack, nobody's considered the fact that it will be difficult to get people and material to Mars before. Have you told NASA?

I always thought we could attatch the materials on to the back of Unicorns who would gallop there on rainbows made from the laughter of small children.

Given the title of this thread, I would have thought that speculation about Mars was allowed. Why not find a thread that's not about Mars. Have you two thought of that? Or have you thought of anything at all, lately?
Umm, don't bother to think of an answer, if it's going to hurt.

You're right, you are delicate and we wouldn't want to bruise you.

That's right. You stick to bruising your own delicate parts. I'm sure you know a lot about that.

How can it not be bruised when your sphincter has a grip like steel?

My nose is quite intact. Your attempted rebuttal is a failure.
