Conspiracy Theories
Re: Conspiracy Theories
Between Epstein, Maxwell, Diddy, Nygard, and the rumours around Heff and the old Playboy Mansion, there MUST be some blackmail material floating around.
After several prosecutions that show pretty clearly that there would be large amounts of 'compra-mat', it still hasn't been released.
Releasing such compra-mat would make it worth a lot less as compra-mat.
So Bongino and Patel have it now (at least the Epstein stuff was in the hands of the FBI) and they are, for now, complicit in keeping it hid.

Was there compra-mat?
Who has possessed it, and maintained the secrecy? I mean aside from the FBI and Patel/Bongino?

Re: Conspiracy Theories
So, the implication is that a tariff roll-back was always part of the plan, and that Trump's rich friends knew this, and that by buying and selling at the right time could make profits.

Re: Conspiracy Theories
Even not being privy to the chaotic workings inside the White House, it would have been a worthwhile bet. It's not as if people who understand the markets hadn't predicted that the bozo tariffs would cause a serious sell-off. Trump blathers regularly about his strong position on this or that only to toss the position to the wind.
I expect that some astute risk-takers made some profits. Even if it weren't a cert, it was worth taking a flyer on the possibility that when the market became scary enough Trump would scurry away from his 'very strong' belief in tariffs. Don't know how many times it'll work for them though. Trump likes throwing his weight around so it seems unlikely that he's through with this particular stunt.

Re: Conspiracy Theories
When Donald Trump offered some financial advice Wednesday morning, stocks were wavering between gains and losses.
But that was about to change.
“THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!! DJT,” he wrote on his social media platform Truth Social at 9:37 a.m.
Less than four hours later, Trump announced a 90-day pause on nearly all his tariffs. Stocks soared on the news, closing up 9.5% by the end of trading. The market, measured by the S&P 500, gained back about $4 trillion, or 70%, of the value it had lost over the previous four trading days...

Re: Conspiracy Theories
This looks like a conspiracy to favour people who listen to the words of their countries leader, and disfavour those who listen exclusively to his detractors.Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 5:14 amWhen Donald Trump offered some financial advice Wednesday morning, stocks were wavering between gains and losses.

Not as exciting as the more popular conspiracy theories.
I think a funniest conspiracy theory is the one where they claim Trump is a racist.
Re: Conspiracy Theories
At least off-site, someone is willing to talk about this...

No one will ever trust these institutions again unless we get the truth about Jeffrey Epstein's blackmail operation.
"Where are the tapes? Why is everyone talking about the flight logs and the files? Where are the tapes?
This guy was clearly taping people to blackmail them. Isn't there a way that like somebody has to sit down and watch it and see who is implicated in this....
He's in like the most secure prison and then he gets the cameras to go out and the correctional officers don't fill out the log and he's found dead...There's just like no getting around the huge indictment it is of this entire, like everything.
The Trump administration when Pam Bondy goes we're gonna release all of this information.. We've only redacted what needs to be redacted for National Security.. You're telling me there's a pedophile ring and we can't tell you everything about it for national security reasons? Why would that be related to national security?
Where are these institutions I'm supposed to trust man? You're telling me there's a pedophile ring that is at least in some degree associated with national security.
Like what?
If you did care about the trust in institutions, then you should be even louder than me talking about like you gotta tell the truth on this story.
Otherwise, we'll never have trust in these institutions.

Re: Conspiracy Theories
—meh, what is it you hope to know? Is your government capable of involving itself in serious crimes to further its own ends? Yes, thousands of them, every year, according to some estimates.
Who were they? The rich and famous and powerful, who else?
Maybe the investigations are still productive so nothing changes…

Re: Conspiracy Theories
That last, much as I hate it, is the only excuse remaining.
Otherwise, there are 'law enforcement officials' sitting on Epsteins porn trove, enjoying it personally while avoiding prosecuting the criminals.
I still say owning the blackmail material, and keeping it secret, just means it's still good as blackmail material.
Classy, and even more so with the current administration already explaining that they knew all that.
