A day late (actually several years) but not a dollar short: Einstein's GRT's prediction of frame dragging has finally finished being confirmed. The data had to be reprocessed several times due to unexpected problems with the gyroscopes, but they're finally done, and they were able to show frame dragging unambiguously. NASA had to pull funding in 2008, but Capitoi One Bank (yes, a bankster did something good for once) and a Saudi Arabian prince provided funding to complete the data processing so that the final results could be obtained.
I missed the announcement, so the data has probably already been published in Physical Review Letters by now; here's a detailed article on it for further information.
