Oliver Sacks: What hallucination reveals about our minds

Post by AnInconvenientScotsman » Sat Apr 02, 2011 10:29 pm

When I feel sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead.
True story.
SUIT UP!
"Dear God, dear Lord, dear vague muscular man with a beard or a sword,
Dear good all seeing being; my way or the highway Yahweh,
The blue-balled anti-masturbator, the great all-loving faggot-hater
I thank your holy might, for making me both rich and white"

I read The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat when I was about 13, and Awakenings about 4 years ago, both interesting reads.
Men! They're all beasts!
Yeah. But isn't it wonderful?

This is the first I've seen of him. I'll probably read one of his books over the summer.
